ABOUT CAJON
Prior to becoming a school treasurer, Cajon spent 6 years in the classroom as a teacher. His experience in engaging students on finance has transcending into the world of school finance, connecting communities to schools through finance. Cajon is also very active in the Ohio Association of School Business Officials, provides public utility guidance to the Ohio School Pipeline Coalition, and served as a workgroup member of the Ohio Fair School Funding Plan.
ABOUT JEFF
There is no greater passion for school finance than that carried by Jeff. He has spent many hours helping treasurers become more successful in their careers. A recent OASBO Treasurer of the Year, Jeff is also very active in the Ohio Association of School Business Officials. Jeff's experience in the private sector, coupled with an education background, provides him a unique perspective on finance.
Jenalee Niese
Jenalee Niese is the EMIS Coordinator at Holgate Local Schools. Jenalee recently completed the OASBO Treasurer Bootcamp and utilized pathway three to obtain her School Treasurer’s License.
Jenalee has 15 years’ experience in education and has gained experience in many aspects of a school’s business and reporting procedures. Jenalee conducts the reconciliation of SFPR vs. FTE student data, collects and manages student and staff data in PowerSchool with submissions to the Data Collector, administer of PowerTeacher Pro, IEP Anywhere – managing timelines and audits, and WebXam. Jenalee oversees numerous Safe account programs including Scholarships, CTE-26, provides data for Tuition, Excess and Catastrophic Cost, analyzes teacher licensure and report card data in the Secure Data Center (SDC), works with AESOP, USAS and RAM, fee receipts, and ODDEX.
